The Lucky Boy diner was the roadside restaurant where Scott Ward settled down after his brief zombie-fighting career to spend his days flipping burgers. It advertised Chinese food, hamburgers, and malts. The diner appeared in Army of the Dead to establish Scott's current life at the start of the film.

At some point after being forced out of Las Vegas by the zombie takeover of the city, Scott Ward began working as a cook for the diner. Eventually Bly Tanaka arrived seeking Ward, and successfully convinced him to leave Lucky Boy for a mercenary mission worth $50 million.[2]
